1. The competition will remain open until June 1st 2008 9.00 a.m. 2. Entry is limited to 1 entry per business or individual. 3. The competition is open to businesses or individuals in the United Kingdom only 4. The prize is valued at £1,000 (The website value is made up from the use of CP New Media time spent designing the website, design iterations and coding) 5. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. 6. Web hosting will be free for the first year. On-going yearly fees for web hosting will be at current rates of £99 / year. Rates are reviewed annually. 7. Entry in the competition indicates an agreement to be contacted by CP New Media Ltd with further information about CP New Media offers and services 8. Entry in the competition indicates an acceptance that the winner's entry details and photograph could be used for promotional purposes by CP New Media. CP New Media's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 9. Failure to provide truthful & accurate information by using the competition entry form will result in you being ineligible for the prize. 10. CP New Media does not accept any responsibility for a change in the prize value. 11. Design and Development timeframe for the prize winner's website is approximately 8 weeks. 12. We reserve the right to refuse to construct or host a web site which we may judge as unfit due to content or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited by, sites containing adult oriented material such as pornography, sites which promote hatred towards persons belonging to any ethnic group, religion or sexual orientation and sites which infringe copyright or are contrary to UK laws. 13. A CP New Media design services contract will be signed by both parties prior to starting the website design program. 14. The website designed by CP New Media for the winning entry will be a static brochure website and will not contain any dynamic content, including bespoke database applications. 15. Once the competition is closed the winning entrant will be drawn at random. We aim to contact the winning entrant by e-mail or telephone within 3 days of the competition closing date. The judges decision will be final. (If a winner cannot be contacted within 10 days, a new winner will be drawn to take their place if futher correct entries have been received.) 16. CP New Media reserve the right to only meet with individuals or businesses within a 40 mile radius of CP New Media Offices. If the winner's location is further than 40 miles from CP New Media's offices then contact and website details will be dealt with via email and telephone, no face to face meetings will take place. 17. This competition is not open to personal friends, family or employees of CP New Media Ltd. 18. This offer is for Web Site design and 1 year's free hosting only. It does not include Logo Design, Registration with search engines, shopping Carts/e-commerce site, e-mail set-up (with local machines) or a 'Macromedia Flash' designed website. 19. The winner will be responsible to provide CP New Media with all textual content typed up in a PC text file. (A typed text file includes MS Word, Notepad, an e-mail or similar Kind of PC text file - therefore CP New Media will not be held responsible for spelling mistakes, once site has gone live) 20. The Winner will need to provide all photos/images as jpeg or gif PC formats. If a winner provides the photos/images in paper format a scanning fee will be chargeable. The winner will have up to 2 weeks to pass all site content to the web designer, unless unavoidable circumstances interfere. (The winner will be responsible to ensure they do not break any copyright laws regarding images and copy text supplied to CP New Media) |
